About Sajomi Digital

I’m Marko, a software professional, a self-proclaimed visionary and an entrepreneur with almost three decades of professional work experience turning ideas into real life digital products. Sajomi Digital is my company where I build and publish my own cool projects.

Building products with perspective

My background spans software development, product ownership, team leadership and entrepreneurship. I began my career as developer at Nokia and its partners, and got into healthcare sector with ProWellness. Later, I progressed into team leading, project management and product ownership roles at companies like Codemate, Multisolution, GBuilder and Finlabs.

I’ve led development teams of up to 20 people with an empathetic, but direct approach. For me, people always come first. I’m used to shaping products, defining requirements, managing backlogs, resources, budgets and turning broad visions into first MVPs.

An entrepreneurial mindset

I am a creator. I’ve founded companies, worked as a co-founder, pitched ideas, invested in many silly things like stocks, derivatives and real estate, and completed a couple of minor business exits. But I have always wanted most to make experiences, worlds that help people discover, connect, enjoy and develop themselves. Products that I would use and buy also for myself. And I am very picky on what I am willing to pay for.

A human view of technology

AI is an important part of Sajomi Digital, but it is a team mate rather than the point. The product ideas may be unique or even controversial, but the decisions and responsibility always remain human.

I’m especially fascinated by the relationship between technology and human: how digital products can be utilized to reduce friction, support real-world encounters, and make people feel less lonely. I try to turn digitalization which has caused all this isolation, into something that also fixes it. That theme is visible across Sajomi Digital’s projects, from dating and local discovery of services, to games that take you outdoors into the real world.

Beyond work

Outside work, I’m a father of three boys, and doing my best to be a loving partner. I’m an introvert, always been a lone wolf by nature, yet life gave me a small pack to love and protect. My goals are strong body, a quiet mind, and a life worth living. It’s all about progress, no matter how slow.
