Plenty of Trash is a multilingual digital publication about the uncomfortable realities of modern online dating. It combines personal stories, practical observations and light-hearted self-assessment tests to help people understand dating culture, avoid common mistakes and find more peace of mind whether dating or single.

Plenty of Trash began as a book about my own years of Tinder, dating apps, bad decisions and unexpected lessons. I am now in a relationship and the father of a young child, so I have finally escaped the dating jungle and can look back at it with both distance and evidence. I played the game — and apparently survived. And I can help others do the same.

The publication exists to say out loud what the dating world is not ready to hear, but what almost every dater recognises immediately. It puts into words the thoughts people have had but were too embarrassed, polite or frightened to admit themselves. The result is honest, uncomfortable and often also funny.

The first release contains 66 uncomfortable truths about online dating, available to read and download for free. Readers can purchase 33 additional truths for a small payment. Later, the publication will offer entertaining tests that explore questions such as:

  • Why am I not getting matches?
  • Why do my dates never progress?
  • Why are men/women so difficult?

These are not clinical psychological assessments. They are sharp, relatable and occasionally painfully accurate tools for self-reflection, based on my own experiences and writing.

The commercial model combines:

  • free content for audience growth
  • paid additional truths
  • individual tests and test bundles
  • digital starter packs
  • an e-book edition distributed through platforms such as Bundle and other major e-book retailers

The publication will launch in English, Finnish, French, Spanish and potentially Hindi. AI-assisted translation makes it possible to adapt the core content efficiently to several large markets while preserving a consistent voice.

Plenty of Trash is not trying to sound like another polite dating-advice brand. That emotional response: “I have thought exactly this, but never said it” — is the foundation for sharing, audience growth and commercial success.

The long-term opportunity is to build a scalable international content brand at the intersection of online dating, psychology, self-reflection and relationship culture.
